Lead Stylist & Salon Manager

What’s The Role?

Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years experiences in working with numerous breeds (dogs & cats) and have management experience running day-to-day operations of a grooming salon. Additionally, this candidate will have strong grooming skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for styling and pets!

 

You must be able to:

• Service 5-6 pets daily, working 6 days a week
• Demonstrate excellence in grooming dogs and cats, performing all grooming tasks independently, including bathing, drying, styling, brushing, de-matting, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trimming/grinding
• Possess knowledge and experience in specialized haircuts, such as Asian Fusion or creative grooming
• Handle grooming for pets of various sizes, weights, temperaments, and breeds, with assistance as needed
• Have a strong understanding of dog breeds, coat types, skin conditions, and grooming standards
• Collaborate with the owner to create the best possible grooming experience for both pets and their owners
• Train and mentor 2 apprentice groomers (time will be allocated for this)
• Educate the staff and apprentices on tips and tricks to elevate grooming
• Conduct employee reviews twice a year
• Maintain animal health records, address minor issues, and report serious conditions
• Deliver exceptional customer service with pet owners before and after grooming sessions
• Help create engaging content for social media, primarily on TikTok and Instagram
• Educate pet owners about grooming, recommend supplies, and take before-and after photos of pets
• Leave every prospective and current customer feeling loved and valued

• A desire to build a strong brand awareness and help promote and build a new business that seeks to truly elevate pet care far beyond what has been available in Kuwait.
• Adaptable. You embrace change as a natural part of growth and improvement.
• Can speak and understand English (fluency is not required)
