What’s The Role?

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experiences in working with numerous breeds (dogs & cats). Additionally, this candidate will have strong grooming skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for hairstyling and pets!

 

You must be able to:

• Service 6-7 pets daily, working 6 days a week
• Demonstrate excellence in grooming dogs and cats, performing all grooming tasks independently, including bathing, drying, styling, brushing, de-matting, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trimming/grinding
• Possess some knowledge and experience in specialized haircuts, such as Asian Fusion or creative grooming
• Handle grooming for pets of various sizes, weights, temperaments, and breeds, with assistance as needed
• Have a strong understanding of dog breeds, coat types, skin conditions, and grooming standards
• Maintain animal health records, address minor issues, and report serious conditions
• Deliver exceptional customer service with pet owners before and after grooming sessions
• Create engaging content for social media, primarily on TikTok and Instagram
• Educate pet owners about grooming, recommend supplies, and take before-and after photos of pets
• Leave every prospective and current customer feeling loved and valued

Essential Skills:

• A pet lover is a must! You love pets and approach every pet with the same empathy and understanding as if it were you own
• Demonstrate beautiful grooms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Emphatic and patient
• Great people skills and superior customer service demeanor
• Can speak and understand English (fluency is not required)
